The design of this disc seems sufficiently creative as to warrant copyright protection B (talk) 03:33, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
Comment Seems below COM:TOO#United States for me, just rectangles and text. --Thibaut (talk) 12:34, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- A few rectangles and text is ineligible for copyright. A lot of rectangles and text put together becomes eligible. I'd consider the Car Credit City logo case as a good example. Any of the constituent elements by themselves are uncreative, but you put them together and you have something creative. --B (talk) 02:11, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
- @B: Will {{MS-PL}} or {{MS-RL}} work? --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 12:01, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Liuxinyu970226: No. If Microsoft is releasing something under one of those licenses, it's probably a coding sample. (And there are plenty of third parties that use one of those licenses, of course.) They are not going to be applicable to anything Microsoft is selling. --B (talk) 14:11, 18 April 2021 (UTC)
